AOU President receives Iraqi Ambassador to Kuwait

Prof. Moudi Al-Humoud, President of the Arab Open University, received Iraqi Ambassador to Kuwait Mohammad Bahar Al-Oloum with the Second Secretary of the embassy of Iraq, Yassmin Hassan, at her office at the AOU Headquarters where addressing several topics related to bilateral relations between Kuwait and Iraq  in addition to conditions and events in the region.
Al-Humoud expressed her pleasure on this visit and presented to the Ambassador a brief about the University’s educational system, blended learning, which is delivered in its eight branches operating in a number of Arab countries, including Kuwait.  Several topics related to the University were also addressed at the meeting such as the AOU educational environment, student services, partnership agreements with international universities and research centers, aspirations, educational and research objectives, and its development strategic plans in the Arab world.
From his part, Bahar Al-Oloum thanked Al-Humoud for the warm welcome and he appreciated the role of the University and its achievement and excellence at regional and international levels, wishing Al-Humoud and the University every success.
At the end of the meeting, Bahar Al-Oloum presented an honorary shield to Al-Humoud in recognition of her efforts and effective role in serving education and strengthening scientific cooperation with brotherly and friendly countries.
