The Arab Open University Training Center concluded a training program entitled The PMI Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP) held for Oula Fuel Marketing Company. The three-day program, presented by Mohand Al-Hakeem, was attended by a number of managers and specialists from the company.
The program aims to identify and assess project risks, mitigate threats and capitalize on opportunities. Therefore, it makes the organization’s staff able to enhance and protect the needs of their organization. It also aims to offer knowledge specific to project risk management to strengthen and support project management.
At the beginning of the program, Al-Hakeem addressed several topics, such as Purpose of the Practice Standard for Project Risk Management, Project Risk Management Definition, Role of Project Risk Management in Project Management, Good Risk Management Practice, and Critical Success Factors for Project Risk Management. Then, He talked about how to plan risk management, identify risks, perform qualitative and quantitative risk analysis, plan risk responses, and monitor and control Risks.
In the conclusion of the program, all participants valued the efforts of the trainer and the content of the program, affirming their desire to participate in such programs that develop their performances in the workplace. On his part, Dr. Sami Khalifa, Manager of the Training Center at the AOU, offered his gratitude and appreciation to the participants and the trainer for their efforts, expressing his thanks to the upper management of Oula Fuel Marketing Company for their trust in the Center of the AOU, which is equipped with the latest capabilities offered to trainees for the sake of the interest of the University and society.
