Dr. Al-Humoud offers condolences to Egyptian people and families of victims

      President of the Arab Open University, Prof. Moudi Al-Humoud, offered her condolences to Egypt's people and government and to the AOU Branch staff in Egypt regarding the terrorist bombings that took place in Margarges Church in Tanta and in St Mark’s Church in Alexandria, leaving dozens dead even more wounded.

     On behalf of the AOU family, she expressed her sorrow and sincere condolences to the families of the victims and wished their families patience and solace and wished the injured a speedy recovery. Al-Humoud emphasized that the terrorist act seeks to destabilize peace and security in Egypt, and it is contrary to all principles of heavenly religions and to all Arab and international norms.

     Al-Humoud lauded the role of Egypt in supporting all Arab and international causes and its efforts in fighting terrorism, pointing to the peaceful nature of all sectors of Egyptian people who are looking forward to development and prosperity. She said this matter calls upon all to be unified to defeat this abhorrent terrorism.
