PMP Workshop organized

In Response to Request of Private institutions

   The Arab Open University Training Center organized a Project Management Professional (PMP) workshop from 22nd January to 2nd February 2017 at the Center in the participation of 15 employees from various private institutions. The goal of the workshop was for promoting competence of employees of both public and private sectors and preparing them to obtain the PMP certificate, which is internationally valued both at the personal and institutional levels. During the workshop, Mr. Ehab Shaban, the workshop trainer, addressed many topics, such as the general framework of projects, their schedule, and management of communication, procurement, stakeholders and project integrity.


   At the end of the workshop, Dr. Sami Khalifa, Manager of the Center, handed the participants their certificates, which are given for their attendance of the workshop. Stressing the importance of holding such workshops, Khalifa said, ‘these workshops have been successful, and they came as a response to the request by many public and private institutions.’ Khalifa also talked about the successes of the Center, such as being PMI Registered Education Provider R.E.P.
