The Arab Open University (AOU) announced that it prepares to offer a professional diploma in social responsibility in coordination with the Arab Organization for Social Responsibility (AOSR), whose office is based in Dubai.
In a press release, Prof. Moudi Al-Humoud, President of the AOU, said that the signed cooperation protocol between the AOU and the AOSR aims to promote and support the programs of strategic plans of sustainable development in the Arab world. Al-Humoud added that the protocol includes the delivery of a professional diploma, the first of its kind at the international level.
Al-Humoud pointed out that the protocol represents a strategic partnership with the AOSR in strengthening the concepts and standards of social responsibility and fostering the programs of strategic development plans of Arab countries.
On his part, Pierre Mukarzel, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Social Responsibility, emphasized the importance of the protocol, pointing to the great trust of the AOSR in the AOU because of its commitment and success achieved across the Arab world.
Mukarzel said that the AOSR, based in Dubai, is looking forward to taking advantage of both parties' training experiences for a successful protocol and for prosperous joint projects that are in agreement with the AOU's noble mission and the mission and vision of the organization in serving Arab communities.
The AOU stressed that it seeks to develop human element's competencies and meet requirements of comprehensive development in the Arab world in accordance with the noble mission of the AOU and its founder's vision, HRH Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz.
